We have carefully chosen our material to reflect a wrinkle resistant fabric. Simply hang your backdrop using the included pole pocket and the weight of the fabric will pull most unwanted wrinkles out right away. If heavy wrinkles still exist, simply steam the backside of the background paying special attention to not over moisten or "overheat" the embossed velour. Many embossed fabrics naturally have a reflection due to the manufacturing process. At Westcott, we have developed a system to remove unwanted reflections from this process leaving the background with a matte finish. This matte finish ensures perfect results when lighting the backdrop. Reflections can cause difficulty in lighting the backdrop, loss of background detail and unwanted highlights.
